This year alone, just In the delta there have been over 25,000 fire sources and more than 90,000 acres have been lost to the flames with all the damage this implies to the people that live In these places and the biodiversity that inhabits this system of wetlands.

Urge Mayor Karen Bass and the City of Los Angeles to publicly document the mandatory evacuation of Lake Encino during the Palisades Fire. This documentation is essential to ensure residents have access to relocation benefits and other forms of aid that require proof of these events.

Air quality: Temporarily Close LBUSD Schools Due to the Palisades Fire

The AQI is currently polluted making it unfit for students. Breathing in wildfire smoke and ash can cause negative health risks like Respiratory Irritation, and it potentially also increases the risk of cancer. 

Support Maui Wildfire Survivors: Provide Adequate Cash Support for Recovery and Rebuilding

Maui residents should be provided by the federal government with a monthly floor upon which to rebuild.
